We would like to thank all the parents who returned their parental questionnaire and to all of you for your continued support. A full copy of the report can be found be clicking on the link below.
Head teacher's welcome
As the head teacher of Oakdale South Road Middle School, I am delighted to welcome you to our school website.
We are a friendly, happy and popular middle deemed primary school, serving the communities of Oakdale and Old Town Poole. Additionally, we also currently have children from other areas of Poole.
Our school community has many qualities but, in particular, prides itself on good pupil personal development, high standards of pupil behaviour and good participation in the many enrichment clubs and activities that are on offer to our children.
Achievements have included nationally recognised awards such as Sport England Activemark, Healthy Schools and Artsmark Silver.
As noted above our 2010 OFSTED inpection resulted in the school's overall effectiveness being graded as outstanding.
Our school has excellent resources, a wonderful building and a staff and team of governors committed to continual improvement.
If you wish to find out more about us, please contact the school. I or my Deputy, Mr Cook, or Assistant Head, Miss Horlock, would be more than happy to talk to you and show you around.
Rob Alborough,
Headteacher
